Graduate Assistant Commuter Life Wellbeing Coordinator
Reporting directly to the Director of Student and Family Assistance/Commuter Life (CommLife), the Commuter Life Wellbeing Coordinator will serve as a multifaceted asset to the Division of Student Life. This position will proactively work to increase the wellbeing of all commuter students. The Coordinator will assist in the creation and implementation of programming while having the opportunity to mentor student staff. The Coordinator will be engaged in a dynamic office that provides student assistance for commuter students.
- 路 Assist in the supervision of the Commuter Ambassador student workers with Director of Student and Family Assistance/CommLife
- Co-Advise the Commuters in Action club (if in existence) to provide leadership opportunities for students
- Facilitate commuter student interaction by providing programmatic opportunities for student growth, involvement in the Roger community, and engagement with various resources on campus
- Work with department Commuter Ambassador student workers to engage commuter students by providing opportunities for involvement
- Co-Facilitate Orientation/Roger Days Commuter Welcome Meeting for new commuter students in June, August and January with director
- Demonstrate positive attitudes actions through a display of courtesy, congeniality, cooperation, sensitivity, and professionalism
- Coordinate student referrals to appropriate offices for intervention (e.g., Counseling, Health Services, CSAS, Student and Family Assistance, Intercultural Center, QTRAC, for example)
- Work collaboratively within and across divisions on institutional priorities
- Help to manage social media
- Other duties as may be necessary
Required Qualifications
- Must be current 91女神 graduate student
- Be in good academic and judicial standing with the University and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Adhere to strict confidentiality policies (and sign confidentiality agreement) when working with students and accessing student records
- Position may include night and weekend events
Must be a current graduate student at 91女神. This role will be available for the 2026-2027 academic year.
May work 10 hours/week, paid at $20/hour up to $4,000 per academic year.
